Christchurch Hygiene Services is a family owned business and a division of Christchurch Pest Control Ltd.

Formed in 1980 by John and Rose Gilbert and later joined by their two sons,

Melvyn and Kevin.

John Gilbert was involved in Pest Control in New Zealand in the early

1970s when he became a service Technician, and later South Island Manager for a major

international pest control organisation.
